Adult Community Support Services:

Primary Care

The team works with individuals and groups between the ages of 18 - 65. The Case workers can offer practical help and support in coping with mental health problems in the community as well as liaising with other agencies and organisations. Groups they facilitate include: gardening, arts, IT and educational support, drop in, stress management and confidence building

Student opportunities include working with clients on a one to one basis as well as in group activities. Gaining an insight to how and what voluntary services contribute to community mental health care. Experience of working within a team, working on own initiative as well as liaising with other organisation in order to support clients living in the community.
