Great Yarmouth and Waveney Mind will be opening a new holiday home in April 2011 especially for carers and their families in Caister-on-Sea
Caister on Sea lies 3 miles to the north of Great Yarmouth in the picturesque County of Norfolk. Its a well populated village with a few small shops, restaurants and pubs with the numerous shops and amenities of Great Yarmouth close by.
Caister is a family resort with a spectacular sandy and dune backed beach and lots of countryside including the remains of a castle to explore.
The village is well known and popular with holiday makers hosting holiday villages and caravan sites and the nearby Greyhound Stadium and Great Yarmouth Racecourse. Lively Great Yarmouth is 3 miles away with the Britannia Pier to the north and Wellington Pier to the south of the Golden Mile of seafront attractions with numerous restaurants and cafes.
For a leisurely day out the famous Norfolk Broads and Norfolk countryside are very inviting and the historic, beautiful city of Norwich is within a 25 mile radius.

- Check in Friday 3pm onward
