"I am very honoured to be asked to be an Ambassador for Great Yarmouth & Waveney Mind and I hope I do you all proud.
I think I would be a great asset to the charity as my grief has left me wanting to do as much as I can to help people in the same situation as my son who took his own life. Life was unbearable for myself after Trystan left us and still three years later I find it very difficult.
We had no idea my son was dealing with mental health issues and we were desperately looking for answers! I know now the only answer is talking about your problems to someone who understands, with all my heart I wish he had done, but being a taboo subject to most I guess he had no where to turn. I want to change that and want all people to know that the subject of suicide does not phase me, I have been their worn the t-shirt and am making my way out the other side, but not without help!"
